Comment to Lindsey's Post

I tried commenting on Lindsey's post and it wouldn't let me so...here it is.

I agree with the comments about Rose. There is a scene where Rose is sorting some type of art supply by herself and Miss Brodie is in the room with Mr. Lloyd. Rose and Miss Brodie leave together and author writes that they walk as one, when Miss Brodie puts her arms around her shoulder's. I'm not sure what influenced this thought, but I immediately felt as though there was some sort of secret connection being built between Rose and Mr. Lloyd. Miss Brodie starts to feel envious of Rose, maybe because she was approaching her prime, while Miss Brodie was approaching the end of her prime.
