In class presentation
i thought the term chick lit was pretty interesting. the Implement of it is that its books often humous and lighthearted about womanhood. Usually a type of fiction and includes romantic elements as the heroines relationship with family and friends are as important as the romantic relationships in the book. While this class could be renamed a chick lit class for often we discuss woman hood and all the books being read and discussed deal with woman, it could also go the other way. A lot of the stories we have read don't have a happy or completely finished ending, many of them end with deaths, sad charters or prospects where the ending could go in a few different directions. So really this term does not do its justice in describing chick lists at all while actually doing them the opposite and categorizing them in stereotypes which they do not fit into and making them completely seem different then they actually are.
